We will have a mandatory meeting for parents and all students who plan to participate in dual enrollment during the 2019–2020 school year on Tuesday, March 5 at 6:30 p.m. in the Lassiter theater. This meeting is for returning and new participants at any college (KSU, Chat Tech, GA State, GA Highlands, etc.). We will discuss new policy and program updates as well as Lassiter rules and logistics. It is extremely important that anyone interested in participating in dual enrollment next school year be present. We will give registration and funding priority to those who attend the meeting.
For those students wanting to take AP tests this May, registration is open on MyPaymentsPlus.com. AP teachers sent information directly to students regarding what they will need. Parents may pay by check to the bookkeeper, and she will register for the appropriate classes. Tests are $94 each, with the exception of AP Research and Seminar, which is $142 each. There is also a registration fee of $15 per student. The state is paying for one higher level math or science class per student. Please email questions regarding registration to Lassiter AP Testing.
We are so excited for our new gym. We encourage you to stay informed about the construction progress.
