2nd Semester Lassiter High School Parking (2016-2017)
All senior, junior and sophomore licensed drivers may apply for 2nd semester parking in Ms. Basler’s office (at Trojan head in skylight) for $50, beginning December 5. Payments can be made online, by check, or exact cash. Decals will be available for pick-up after December 7. To expedite the process, please complete the following forms ahead of time and bring them to the drop box outside of 319, all paper-clipped together, in the order shown below:
If you drove 1st semester:
Fill out Parking Renewal Application and attach copy of driver’s license, current insurance card (cannot be expired) and current tag registered (cannot be expired), and $50 online payment receipt, check made payable to LHS, or cash.
If registering a different car second semester:
Fill out Vehicle Update Form and attach copy of driver’s license, current insurance card (cannot be expired) and current tag registered (cannot be expired), and $50 online payment receipt, check made payable to LHS, or cash.
Students who owe book, media, or parking fines have to pay them first before getting a parking decal. Pay book fines to Mr. Leterle in 1105, pay media fines in media center, and pay parking fines to Mrs. Basler, (office in skylight). Students must bring paid receipt before applying for decal.
New Student Driver:
Step One: (Must be completed before turning in any parking paperwork/payment)
Students, complete the fall parking application, and fill in all boxes. Print the confirmation e-mail you receive.
Print and complete the following forms, and make sure all signature lines are complete (student and parent/guardian).
- Lassiter High School Student/Parent Parking Contract (two pages)
- Cobb County Board of Education Parking Application (two pages)
- Cobb County Notification of Truancy and Tardy Rule
Paper clipped in order:
- Printed e-mail confirmation.
- Three forms above.
- Copy of the student’s current license.
- Copy of the current insurance card for the car you will be parking.
- Copy of the current Georgia tag registration (cannot be expired).
- Check made payable to Lassiter High School or cash in the amount of $50 exact change, or bring a printed receipt from online payment for parking.
Applications will be incomplete and not accepted if any of the above items are incorrect or missing.
If decal is not on front windshield your car could be ticketed.

Students cannot apply for a parking decal if they had six or more unexcused tardies or seven or more unexcused absences last semester. You will have to wait until 45 school days have gone by since the last tardy/absence. Get your last tardy/absence date from PPO, then see Ms. Basler for eligibility date to purchase a decal.
Maps showing specific lots for student parking will be available when decals are purchased. Students who park in an area that is not designated for student parking will be given tickets.
Students are not to park in striped line areas. All students parking in those areas will receive a ticket.
Students are to vacant the parking area in the front of the school where the band practices no later than 3:45 p.m. each afternoon. That parking area will close promptly at 3:45 p.m. If you do not remove your vehicle, you will be subject to your vehicle being towed.
